  1. Luke, great post! The guest accordion player is former full-time member Joe Jogerst, featured prominently on their first studio release, Bridges To Bert.

    Cheers!

    • Great insight Falcon! The Mark Vann tributes and stories at this show bring back great memories. I miss him.

EUPHORIA history: Written in 1958 by Robin Remailly, one of the bad boys from Bucks County, PA. Other bad boys were his high school buddies Steve Weber and Michael Hurley, and later, Jesse Colin Young. Weber recorded Euphoria with Peter Stampfel on the first Holy Modal Rounders album in 1963 and on the last in 1999. A middle version was recorded in 1977 when the Rounders were a seven piece jam band that included Remailly on fiddle and electric mandolin.

    • Wow Mark – I had no idea. Thanks for bringing the knowledge. Robin Remailly must have been an early influence to Vince Herman’s rambling gonzo folk lyrical freestyle!
